Before founding East Superior, Joseph made significant contributions to the success of Root Realty, a renowned Chicago property management business. As the leader of Root Realty, Joseph spearheaded the management of thousands of apartments and successfully completed over 600 renovations since 2006. Under his leadership, the company consistently delivered exceptional results, solidifying its position as a trusted player in the Chicago real estate market.
Joseph's educational background includes an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS from Fordham University. |

Bruce KlinkPartnerBruce Klink is a Partner of East Superior Real Estate Partners, and is responsible for overall acquisitions and underwriting. He previously ran the strategy & analytics team for Capital One’s $25B Financial Institutions Group and oversaw over $500M in acquisitions on Walgreens’ M&A team. He brings over 20 years of Real Estate experience including investments, development, architecture, and construction. Bruce earned his BBA in Real Estate and Finance from the Wisconsin School of Business and MBA in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the Kellogg School of Management. He lives in Chicago with his wife & daughter and serves as the Treasurer of the Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago and is a member of Ladder Up's Advisory Board.

Michael RootPartnerMichael Root is a Partner of East Superior Real Estate Partners, and is responsible for overall asset management. In 2004, Michael began his career as a commercial real estate broker. Quickly thereafter his interests shifted to focus on the company’s investment management business. During the near two decades that followed he has assisted his partners and stakeholders with the successful development, acquisition, and disposition of over $300 million in assets. Michael’s expertise includes underwriting, forecasting, acquisitions, and asset management of multi-family properties. He is the Managing Partner of Root Realty, a residential property management firm, a member of the National Apartment Association, and a Certified Apartment Manager. He resides in Chicago with his wife and two children.
